Foreword:

Ever wonder what God might have to say to YOU today? Here are things to ponder, and things to receive into your heart. If you have a question, put it in the comments. I respond as much as I can.

A note for all my readers: I've been experimenting with YouTube videos for Bible teaching, and now I'm working my way through the New Testament. I encourage you to subscribe to my YouTube channel for better coverage. I'm still writing, of course, and my written posts appear here.

How much does love cost?

Children, love is not how much you spend.  It's how you meet the needs of My other children.  My servants often write about this, and many times they forget that there are crucial moments that do not reappear, moments of need, when you can help right then, and when just a little help is enough--but those moments are only there for a brief time, and then they are gone.
Here's an example:

Matt. 10:42 And whoever shall give one of these little ones just a cup of cold water to drink in the name of a disciple, verily I say to you, he shall never lose his reward.

There's the immediate need. Thirst.

Here are YOU; you have water.  My Dear Son is not asking you to give all your water, all your income, all your food.  Just  share some of what you have, for an immediate need to help a thirsty soul.
That is love and mercy in action. It doesn't need to be a lot. It does need to be:

  • Timely (at the moment of need).
  • Personal (direct to the person who needs it).
  • Just what is needed (a person who needs water or food doesn't necessarily need money).
  • Enough (a cup, not a drop).

Learn to show My love in little ways, and in little things. Don't hold back As you might say, "Just do it. "
My dear children, you can do this.  I will not withhold any good thing from you if you do.
