Want to be Jesus' closest friend? Or have Him be your closest friend?
Here's a simple formula from the New Testament:
Matthew 12:49-50 , Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
Jesus' point is pretty obvious: Loyalty to Him pays the greatest of all rewards. we get to be family. Why not follow Him today?
