Foreword:

Ever wonder what God might have to say to YOU today? Here are things to ponder, and things to receive into your heart. If you have a question, put it in the comments. I respond as much as I can.

A note for all my readers: I've been experimenting with YouTube videos for Bible teaching, and now I'm working my way through the New Testament. I encourage you to subscribe to my YouTube channel for better coverage. I'm still writing, of course, and my written posts appear here.

So you want to tell people about Me...Part 2

Two things affect how people look at Me more than any others.  They are:

How you treat each other (the other people who worship My Dear Son)
My Dear Son said, "By this shall all men know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." In other words, people understand who YOU are by the way you treat the other people who worship My Dear Son.  It's not good enough to say, "Well, they are different from me," and then treat them badly.  If they worship My Dear Son, and you treat them with love, that's good.  If you don't, then you withhold Me from the world, because My Dear Son prayed, "I pray for these [disciples]... that they may be unified [in love], that the world may believe that You sent Me." You, my children, can do no better than to resolve to treat My other children with love, and try to be kind to them.  That, more than any other action you will take, brings Me to the world at large.

How you treat THEM.
When I watch the world, I see a great deal of evil done to people by My servants. Don't do evil to other people. Some of this evil has to do with people who are not "like you." They are not of "your tribe" (different skin color, different race, different customs, different ideas); some has to do with people who are "not as good as you" (different social or economic class, different intelligence, different circumstances, different sins). One day, My Dear Son went to a dinner party at a Pharisee's house.  When He got there, a woman was waiting for Him. She entered the house, and knelt before Him, and washed His feet with her tears, and wiped them with her own hair.  My Son's host, Simon, said within himself, "If this Man [Jesus] was a prophet, He would have known what kind of woman this was." Simon saw the woman as less, as "not a real person," because she was poor, she was different, she was a "woman of the streets." Jesus saw her for who she was--someone who wanted to love Him.  Now think for a moment. If My Dear Son had not been there, what would Simon have done?? He was a religious man. What would he have done?  He tells you, doesn't he, when he says, "[Jesus] would have known what sort of woman she was..." Simon would have treated her as unworthy of his attention and interest, and sent her away.
There are many things like this. They fall into categories, and they are things NOT TO DO:
  • Cheating someone in your business dealings.
  • Lying about them to someone else.
  • Revealing their secret problems in gossip.
  • Treating them as "less worthy than you" because they don't have a home, or a car, or money.
  • Treating them as "especially worthy (giving them undue respect and honor)" because they DO have a home, a car, or money.
  • Trying to get special favors from them because they have a home, a car, and money.
  • Stealing from them.
  • Harming them in some way.
People sometimes reject Me because they see YOU.  People respect Me and love and worship Me because they see you, and hear from you about Me.
Don't give people a reason to reject Me. Show them that you love Me by treating them as you would like to be treated in their situation. Put yourself in their shoes, and treat them just as you would appreciate and enjoy.

So you want to tell people about Me...

First, THANK YOU! Many of my children today keep Me hidden, and don't discuss who I am at all. Or if they talk about Me, they distort Me to fit their own mold. Either I am some sort of moneygrubber (as if I needed your money!), or I am some sort of cosmic Grandpa, or I am some crazy unreasonable Person who doesn't like certain classes of people (black, white, brown, live in a different town, if you know what I mean), or I am like some rich black girl, or some poor white guy, or stupid, cruel, or not "with it," or whatever.  I'm none of those things. I'm the Father.  People who mischaracterize Me are really trying make ME into THEM. That never works.  Like I told Moses, "I AM who I AM"--and not someone else.

So if you want to tell other people about Me, use words. That's how people talk to each other.  You should make the words you use accurate, and for this you need to know something about what My servants taught in early days, in the Bible, but not much. A whole world of information about Me is contained in the verse called John 3:16--"God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him would not perish, but have everlasting life." If you can put more meaning into a sentence than that, show Me, and you can be my new Chief Prophet. Words like the ones above are plenty to show someone enough about Me to spark their faith, and cause them to seek Me and find Me (Whoever seeks finds!). Besides, I come WITH My words, show people who I am. I can always tell, by the way, who wants to know Me, so don't worry about saying exact the right thing. Just be nice to people, and then tell about Me. It's good to know someone a little bit first, but that's not always needed. You can tell anyone, and if I tell you to tell them, be sure to do it, because deep down that person wants to know Me, and even if they resist at first, I'm speaking to them while you are.  Don't be surprised if  they seem to reject what you say. They are listening inside. Tell them what I tell you to say, and then pray for them.

You won't always know what happens when you talk to people about Me. I may even hide it from you, so you won't get a big head. Just do it, and don't be afraid of them; most times, they will be polite, even if they are mad at you for bringing Me up. It's not even too mean to have a little fun with folks who reject Me, if you know how. They usually think they are smarter than I am, so if you know how to have fun with these folks, teasing them, so to speak, about their unbelief, it's good for them, good for the people who listen to them, and once in a while one of them really looks at himself, and starts to think about what you actually said, and then believes. That's always worth it.

Listen to My Dear Son First!

All of my servants, who wrote in My Book, wrote things I wanted them to say; but the words you need to hear most are the things written about My Dear Son in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. I had my servants place these four books at the beginning of the "New Testament" for a reason, and the reason is  that I want you to hear My Dear Son FIRST.
My Servant John says,
"Nobody has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son,...He has explained Him."
In other words:
If you want to know what I think, My Dear Son will tell you. Read what He said.
If you want to know how I will judge the world, find what My Dear Son says about that.
If you want to know how I treat people, read how My Dear Son treated them when He was on the earth.
If you want to know the people I like, read who My Dear Son liked when He was on the earth.
If you want to know about My mercy, see how My Dear Son showed mercy.
If you want to know what makes Me angry, read about what made My Dear Son angry when He was on the earth.
If you want to know about My sense of humor, read about what made My Dear Son smile.
If you want to know what's important, read what My Dear Son thought was important.
All this is in the four Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John.
"This is My Beloved Son. HEAR HIM!"
